what is it you want to do with your login script?
map drives? connect printers? Update files?
You can do a lot. Post to the list what you want to accomplish with =
your login script and I am sure we can come up with something.

Logon scripts go in the netlogon share on your DC(s). But you can just
write your scripts and run them from wherever to test them. Like just
write
a batch, vbs, js, whatever file and save it on your desktop if you want,
and
just double click it to see if it works.
