[windows2000] Interesting One

Hi All,

We are in the process of installing 4 servers running Windows 2000 Adv.
Server with Terminal Services (SP2). 3 of the servers has the application
loaded with the 4th one being used as a data server. Each server is a member
server of the current domain.

Each Terminal Server is a DELL PowerEdge 4400 with:
Dual PIII Xenon Processors
1Gb RAM
3x18Gb SCSI Drives (RAID5)
128Mb SCSI Controller

The problem we are currently experiencing during our testing phase, is that
if logged on as a domain user, the performance of the application is
extremely
poor. When logged on as a local user on one of the 3 application servers the
application is literally 5 + times faster. Connection to the terminal
servers
is through the standard Microsoft TS Client software.

Has anyone else experienced this or similar problems?

TIA,
Rab.
