[windows2000] Cygwin with WinXP install problems

Hi all,
Does anybody here use Cygwin with WinXP SP3?
I'm having a problem installing Cygwin on WinXP. The install chokes and stops
on "installing aspell". Google-searches reveals there is a problem (dated
2007) with aspell, some kind of lib mismatch or something. In any case, I've
no idea how to fix this. I've tried setting aspell to uninstall at setup but
the installer still chokes.
Has anybody here had the same problem? If so, what did you do to fix this?
