Go in to the preferences with a ctrl-p and then get to the treeview. Once there, go to file types. Tab to the list of files that Winamp supports. You want to uncheck the following file types using the spacebar. WMA, and RMA. There also might be a Ram in there as well. If there is and it has to do with real media, uncheck that as well. HTH. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dan Mccurley To: winamp 4the blind list Sent: Monday, June 25, 2007 10:00 PM Subject: winamp plays everything Can anyone tell me how to stop winamp from playing everything. When a site requires windows media, or real player, to play something, winamp plays it instead. There are some advantages of this but not enough to make me want to leave it this way. Help appreciated. Dan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
