winamp playing only on one side

Hello I'm asking on behalf of a friend! I'm not sure how to help. I
think you might have to balance the volume. Do you have to do alt H to
fix it? Here is her question. I don't want to lead her down the wrong
path!
I have Winamp 5.56. Anything I play is only coming out of the right
speaker/headset. Jaws is coming out on both sides. What can I do to correct
this problem? Other players such as windows media are working fine. Any help
would be appreciated.
