Hello. Ok folks, let's please end this pointless test message thread. Guys
really!If you really can't control yourself and you must reply to every
single test message, please have the common courtesy to do it
***privately*** so that we don't have to exercise our delete key so damn much.
If you don't know how to reply privately to someone, please get a better
grasp on how to make better use of your e-mail program. That's one of the
pre-requisites of being on an e-mail list like this one, you should get a
grasp of how to reply privately so you can keep private mail private and
list stuff on the list. and this includes thank you messages. I know it's
quicker to just reply like normal, but stop and think for a second. Do you
want everyone on the list to just see a message that just says thanks? and
that's it? Now if you're going to thank the entire list as a whole then
please by all means send it to the list, that makes sense. but learning how
to keep list mail on the list and private mail private, well it's a good
thing. it goes a long way to keeping needless traffic off the list and
keeps everyone, including me, your list owner, a happy guy. and we all like
it when I'm happy.
