base and treble in version 5.04

Hi:
Is there any way of increasing the base and treble in a sound file in win amp
version 5?
Normally it is no problem, but, I have a book I am reading and the tone is a
bit muffled and I would like to increase the treble a little higher.
There is no tone switch on my cheap little speakers and my sub woofer is set as
high as possible.
