After upgrading to Winamp 5.53 from my previous install of winamp 5.51, I find that Winamp takes a long time to load up, 1/2 minute or more. After discovering this, I removed Winamp and did a clean install of version 5.53 but but the problem persists.
I do not load the media library tt startup and do not have winamp manage any files - at least not to my knowledge. I also have not changed any of the settings bbut find version 5.53 much slower to load.
