hi. I think what peter is refering to is not the speed of the
download of the program itself, but the performance of Winamp 5.2 on
his particular system. Let's not confuse things here folks.
I use XP and it was a bit slow as well. No clue why, but that sometimes happens with downloads.

Hi list, tried installing Winamp 5.2, the new one; it's s-o s-l-o-w loading, unlike 5.13, so I'm back to 5.13. Is Nullsoft not telling us that Win 98 is not supported by Winamp 5.2, and thus the sluggish response? Don't get 5.2 unless you're an out-and-out GEEK!
