Wavefiles wan't been played anymore

Hello!
I'm new on the list, but have used winamp for several years. I've found a
problem when trying to play wave-files in Winamp 5.35 or rather finding them
when selecting files in the open files dialuge which I personally find the
easiest way to choose files from.
When I've selected all supported filetypes or something like that any wavefile
is not showed. When I however select the option Soundfiles they show up, but
is'nt it a bug in Winamp or can I fix it myself without doing some advanced
DLL-changing which I haven't tried yet?
