Hi Duyahn, Thanks for your help. I'll also call customer support on Monday and see what I can learn. Maybe there is a WE user on the list who has a notion as well. I will look and see for you on answers to this. ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve Zielinski To: winamp4theblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 10:01 PM Subject: Re: Trying to learn winamp, installed v. 5.35, need hints Hi Duyahn, Using window eyes here, so no scripts, but it seems that my appropriate set file is associated. I did what you said, and seems no change. After pressing the spacebar on "all", I press space bar on the close, then closed winamp with alt-f$, then reopened it. If you have the Winamp scripts installed, press Control-P for preferences. Then tab to the list view of options and choose file types. Then tab to the all button and press the spacebar. Then tab to the close button and then close and then reopen Winamp. Using window eyes 5.0. I'm to the point now where I dislike not knowing how to function more efficiently with Winamp. Perhaps some of you good folks can be of assistance. I've recently installed winamp 5.35. Was using 5.094 before. At this point my problem is that many of my .asx files, which I can click on and listen to various radio stations with, are not working now. Some .asx files do, and this puzzles me greatly. I used to be able to click on all of them and have the older version of winamp play them. I see there is a section under options, > Winamp preferences, > general preferences, > file types that seems to list a bunch of file types. How do I properly interact with these file types in the multi-selection list box, letting winamp know I want it to use all .asx files, for instance. I can't tell which is selected and which are not. Frankly, I don't even know if this is exactly the right area of the program to resolve my problem. Again, some .asx files play, many don't. I sure would appreciate any help offered.
