Song starts playing when scrolling through the playlist

Hi.
I'm posting this for someone else. He is trying to use the Winamp playlist,
but every time he moves to a new entry in the playlist it starts playing. I
know there's a setting in Winamp to check or uncheck for this to stop
happening, but I don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated.
