What happens if in the main winamp window, you press alt F for the file
menu, then arrow down to play and on the play submenu, arrow down and enter
on ther drive that you have the DVD in?

I also tried a plug-in called Nice Media plug-in. I got it to work to some
extent, but it would only play small parts of the DVD when I would specify a
file to open. If I used shift-L to open the directory, that didn't work.
If anyone nows what I might be doing wrong, please enlighten me. I'm using
Winamp 5.05 with JFW and Windows XP home.

that, no. Winamp doesn't have anything to play a dvd. There is a plugin
called Powerplayer that's supposed to make Winamp capable of playing them,
but I haven't tried it. You may want to look on winamp.com and get that
plugin and see how well it works.
