Are you talking about the search bar in Firefox? Is it defaulting to Winanp? If you want to change it, just get to the search bar, I use F6 followed by the tab key, and then hit alt+down arrow. You can then choose the default search engine you want to use for the Firefox search bar by just pressing enter.
