I forgot to mention that the Recent Items file also has track length for
tracks you play on CD, which may make it more useful for you if that is what
you are looking for.

This may not be what you want, but if you go into the Recent Items section
of the library, you will get a list of whatever you have played recently.
I'm not sure how far back it goes. If you pop a CD into your drive and zip
through the tracks, it will put the artist and title into the Recent Items
file. It will also put in there how often the track was played and the date
and time it was played.
Sorry if you already know about this and it wasn't what you were looking
for; but it's the only idea I have at the moment, and I suppose it's not the
optimal solution. But it might be good enough for what you have in mind.

Thanks for your response. I know CDEx is not on this list that was not
my question. I have seen others mention programs in there messages, I did
not think this was a problem. There is a relationship between the two
programs.

CDEX is not covered on this list. Usually the info for the cd is
