Hi Jim
I think in most cases you would probably want the tmf file to be in the default user, or at least the current user directory, but you could always move it somewhere else if you really needed to.

Ok, your second question has me a tad confused. You asked:

Is there a way to instruct JAWS to only display the marker name which one types instead of adding, for example,
TimeMarker1, 1:05
I'm guessing that you only want JAWS to say,
"time marker 1", instead of, "time marker 1, 1:05", correct?
I would think that having the time at the end is a great way to tell where each marker is. If it only spoke the word time marker for each marker, that would be damn confusing to me. If you have 4 or 5 time markers in a really long file and you have them in specific places, it is often helpful to know where each one is, and this is why JAWS speaks the time in minutes and seconds to better help you figure out where each one is. I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks gang.
