Subject: A Special Christmas Novelty Edition of Toews on the Waves

One of the really fun aspects of Christmas music is the wide array of
Christmas novelty songs that have been recorded over the years. From
Spike Jones to Bob Rivers with an awful lot of ground in between,
Christmas novelty music covers most every musical genre and has brought
out the fun side in many a serious musical artist.

This week on Toews on the Waves, we suspend all of our usual features in
favor of two hours of Christmas novelty music, with some classic
Christmas comedy routines thrown in as well. Remember that really funny
Christmas song you laughed at as a child? How about the side-splitter
you heard on the radio that evening during the Christmas season not so
long ago? Or what about that funny routine your friend told you you just
*had* to hear? You just might run into them on next week's show.

I could easily program the whole thing by myself, but it would be so
much more fun if you'd do the job for me by telling me what kinds of
Christmas novelty you'd like to hear. I can't promise I'll be able to
fit everything in, but I sure will try. So feel free to e-mail
bruce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or call our request line at 206-203-3070. And
most importantly, tune in this week for our Christmas novelty tune
special and ring in Christmas week with smiles. The show will air this
Sunday at 7:00 PM Easter, 4:00 Pm Pacific, or Monday at midnight in the
UK. To listen, simply direct your Web browser to www.legend-oldies.com
and click on the listen link. I really hope to see you there.
