Do you have Zone Alarm installed?
Zone Alarm with retag attachments to protect against virus and malicious
macros in xls, doc and mdb's.

You can simply detach the item and then scan it with your virus scan.

Chances are if it is from a known person, it's fine... but scan it anyways
and then rename the suffix and you're good to go.
