Subject: [wikispooks] Browsers
This post is an effort to learn more down the 'page blanking' bug which some
site users have reported can cause the Wikispooks front page to blank itself. I
have never seen this, but I suspect it to be a javascript bug, since we're
using some special javascript on the coverpage to make the tabs which doesn't
appear anywhere else on the site. A friend of mine reported the page blanking
bug only for that page, using Chromium 71.0.3578.98 on Linux Mint 18.2, and
stated that it didn't manifest when using Firefox.
I usually use Firefox, but when I tried Chromium I failed to see the bug. I
actually preferred its rendering of the site, i.e. the tooltips on inter-site
page links.
Which browser(s) do you use to access the site? FIREFOX How well do they work?
PERFECTLY Have you seen this page blanking bug? NEVER
