Hello Wiltondale Pool Members,
We hope this email finds everyone healthy and safe. We would like to thank
everyone who has communicated to us over the last few weeks regarding our
upcoming pool season. We felt that it would be best if we cleared up some
questions related to renewing your membership. The pool committee has been
in communication with our new management company, DRD Pools, regarding the
best process to maintain our opening schedule in the current COVID climate.
Due to the time and effort needed to open a pool for a new season, we have
decided to stay on schedule with those preparations, in hopes Wiltondale
will be ready to open at some point this summer. We will email you monthly
with updates to keep you informed of what our season is shaping into. As

LATE FEE
The date for assessing a Late Fee has been changed to May 15th (at which
time we will reevaluate, if appropriate)
COMPLETE CLOSURE of POOL FOR THE SEASON
Should the government advise that community pools must stay closed due to
health reasons, we will refund your membership with the exception of $50
maintenance fee for 2020. This fee will hold your membership in good
standing until the 2021 season (see Member Decision to Not Renew below for
fees if you do not pay the maintenance fee). Additionally, the maintenance
fee will ensure we have the available funds needed to cover the costs to
prepping the pool, utilities, landscaping or further "winterization" for the
remainder of the year. Please note that bond holders will also be required
to pay the $50 maintenance fee.
DELAYED OPENING/PARTIAL SEASON
Should we end up having a delayed opening in June/July, we will prorate
memberships based on our opening day.
MEMBER DECISION TO NOT RENEW
Nonpayment of dues and fees will result in dropping your membership.
Members who elect to not renew AND not pay the $50 maintenance fee will need
to reapply to the waitlist for 2021 season. Upon approval for 2021, members
will again pay an initiation fee of $400 in addition to annual membership
fees.

purchasing a membership. The pool provides jobs and everyday continuity in
uncertain times.
