Dear Wiltondale Pool Members,
We have great news…Wiltondale Pool will be opening to members at a limited
capacity on Saturday June 13, 2020. Thank you to all the members who renewed
their membership this season not knowing whether or not those pool gates would
ever open. We are working on creating a schedule that will accommodate our
current membership and give you the opportunity to reserve a time, that is
convenient for you, at the pool each day. We will allow members to swim
without a reservation on a first come first serve basis. There will also be a
sign up, of one hour increments, for lap swimming throughout the day.
After each session, the pool will close for 30 minutes so things can be cleaned
and sanitized before the next group is allowed in.
Please be flexible with our procedures as things may change from day to day
based on your ability to follow these new guidelines that are in place as well
as the guidelines we are mandated to follow per the State and County
regulations. We have the right to adjust these measures if we find that
members can’t abide by them. We are all in this together and need to respect
each other’s time, space and the decisions one makes that best protects you and
your family.
ENTERING/EXITING the POOL
Enter through the right gate, Exit through the left gate. The entry ramp will
be a one way path into the pool area while the path and stairs closest to the
bathrooms will be a one way path out.
MASKS
Per state guidelines, Wiltondale Pool members over the age of nine (9) will be
required to wear masks during check-in, exiting to their car and when
interacting with staff or individuals that are not part of their member family
household when not social distancing.
BABY POOL
We are not allowed to open the baby pool under the current restrictions.
During this time, we will be allowing children who are not potty-trained to
enter the main pool. They must be accompanied at all times by a responsible
swimmer, age 13 or older and must remain at arms lengths when in the pool. They
must be wearing a swim diaper under their bathing suit and they also must have
on tight fitting rubber pants

as an added measure to help keep our pool safe.
CHAIRS
We will have a very limited amount of chairs and loungers available for your
use. Feel free to bring your own chair to use while visiting the pool. Please
take your chair home each day, you will not be permitted to leave your chair
overnight.
TABLES and BENCHES
Picnic Tables will be spread 6 feet apart under the pavilion and basketball
court. Long benches will be available around the pool for sitting and/or
holding your belongings.
Please do not leave your belongings unattended on the picnic tables. Tables
are for people, not for bags.
GUESTS
We are still allowing guests at this time but ask that you limit your guests to
a minimum and try not to exceed your family size. We are not allowing parties
or any large group gatherings/pot lucks.
SHARED ITEMS
We will not be lending kick boards, noodles or goggles at this time.
GRILLS
Not available at this time. You may bring food or have food delivered.
Our goal is to make this summer as safe and enjoyable as ever. We hope that
everyone can be flexible and understanding as we navigate during this
unprecedented time. This list is not exhaustive, but it’s a start so that you
can prepare to help support the efforts of staying safe.
