As we all enjoys this great summer weekend at the pool, the pool committee
wanted to send you some quick reminders.
SPEED -
Some Wiltondale neighbors on Sussex and Yarmouth Roads have witnessed cars
headed to the pool traveling at excessive speeds. Please keep in mind that
Wiltondale has many young children playing outside as well as walking to the
pool. Parked cars on the sides make it hard to see a kid running into the road
therefore extra caution is needed. We ask that you keep your speed under 20
MPH when in the neighborhood.
PARKING -
Please also be mindful of our neighbors on Sussex and Yarmouth when parking. We
ask that you leave ample room next to driveways and refrain from parking
directly across the street from a driveway. Both conditions make it hard for
our neighbors to exit. Also, when parking in the parking lot please be sure to
only park in lined spaces. No parking on the grass, please.
HOME SWIM MEET (Monday) -
The Wiltondale Warriors will host a home swim meet on Monday June 18th. The
pool closes at 4pm in preparation. Swim team families should look for an email
regarding parking guidelines.
