Dear Wiltondale Residents,
I hope that this message finds everyone in good health and prepared for the
upcoming holidays. This has been a challenging year for all of us, but it
appears that there is finally an end in sight over the coming months. I
urge everyone to use caution over this time and to also be considerate of
others by wearing a mask in communal Wiltondale spaces such as Greenwood
Park. As I have mentioned previously, for those who are not comfortable
shopping for themselves due to medical conditions, please reach out as we
have many on the Wiltondale Board who are willing to help out. We will get
through this together and I look forward to the time that we can all get
back to our previous traditions and celebrate with friends and family. I
have included a few items of note below for the upcoming month. Have a
wonderful holiday season!

*ANNUAL MEETING*
The annual meeting will be held via zoom this year on Saturday, January 30th at
6:30 p.m. I will circulate a zoom invite to the neighborhood listserve a
few days prior to the meeting. I hope that many of you can make it as the
board has been busy this year with many upcoming community improvements.
*WINTER CELEBRATION/SANTA AT THE TRIANGLE*
The Winter Celebration/Santa at the Triangle will be occurring on December
20th at 6:00 p.m. As has been the case with most of our neighborhood events
this year, Santa at the triangle will be occurring in a modified socially
distant format. The Lutherville fire department will be driving up and down
the streets of Wiltondale with Santa in the firetruck waiving to the
children of the neighborhood. While we understand that this does not convey
the magic of a child sitting on Santa’s lap, we feel that it is the
responsible approach to take at this time. We hope to see everyone outside
on the 20th to cheer on Santa and our local fire department.
*HOLIDAY DECORATION CONTEST *
The winners of the Holiday decoration contest will once again be chosen the
week after Christmas. Due to the variety of ways to decorate, we have
decided to update the categories for the winners. Wiltondale will continue
to make a donation to the winner’s choice of charity.
Rather than 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc., the new categories will be: *Best Overall *–
$100 donation
*Williamsburg Style *(Must be all-natural greens.) Lights can be used. –
$50 donation
*Most Whimsical/Fun*- $50 donation
*Honorable Mention *– $25 donation
We look forward to making our annual drive around the neighborhood to see
all of the wonderful decorations in our neighborhood!
*RADEBAUGH PARK*
One last item to note is that Radebaugh Park is entering phase 2 of
construction and will be closed until April 2021. Many of us have enjoyed
the phase 1 opening over the past year, but contractors will be paving the
new walkways with heavy equipment and will have the entire park roped off.
We look forward to the reopening of this great local amenity in 2021!
