Hello Whitman Family and Friends,


Please join us on Wednesday, November 6, at 8:40 am for an English Language
Advisory Committee meeting and general parent meeting in the library. The ELAC
meeting will begin at 8:40 am and the general parent meeting will begin at
approximately 9:00 am.

The ELAC meeting will address the status of our English Language Learners. The
general parent meeting will give information regarding our recent reorganization
and address other parent questions or concerns with a representative from our
central office.

There are some students who need a new bow for their violins, they are $25 each.
The students need 3 to use and 1 for a back-up.  If you would like to donate
toward the new bows, please contact the PTA.  Thank you.

UPCOMING EVENTS FOR WHITMAN


STOP BY THE GLASS CASE BY THE OFFICE TO SEE THE DISPLAY FOR WHITMAN FASHION MOM
CONTEST 2013

November 8th-  Family Fun Night in the Auditorium from 5 pm - 8 pm, where you
can also meet the contestants of the Whitman Fashion Mom Contest 2013. There
will be raffles, prizes, food, games and music provided by Projecto X by Ray and
The Gut Bucket Band.  You will be able to vote for your favorite mom and buy
raffle and show tickets.  Show ticket prices are $5 for General Admission, $15
for Preferred and $25 for VIP.  Fliers will be sent out this week.

December 14, 2013 - The Signature event of Whitman PTA!  Whitman Fashion Mom
Contest 2013, doors open at 12:30 pm and the show begins at 2 p.m. Show ticket
prices are $5 for General Admission, $15 for Preferred and $25 for VIP.
