I have a few items for consideration that will clarify or complete a
sentence/section. These are items **1* and **8*.
There are also a handful of powder and puff (p & p) items that can be
incorporated when this doc is next typed (I missed a few...). I will
include everything here, in order. Disregard the p & p items (these will
be for the next person typing the doc...).
**1*. III. C. Membership in Good Standing
Add after the last sentence, "The rights and privileges of membership can
be exercised as long as the member is in good standing."
The addition of this language makes it perfectly clear, and NOT a "given".
With this addition clearly stated, it does not have to be repeated
throughout the rest of the doc. There is one place when this was repeated
(VI. B. 1. Voting), and Rodney and I thoroughly discussed it and thought
that for emphasis, the repetition at this place was warranted.
2. IV. B. 1.
Delete (2/3). This is to be consistent with the rest of the doc - *NOT*
using the spelled out number *and* the
numerals.
2a. VI. A. 1.
"General Considerations" should be in *bold*
3. VI. A. 1. g.
line 2 remove the "," after *removal*
line 3 after *by *remove "a"
last line Officer's *should* be Office's
4. VI. A. 2. k. (1) line 1
after "...officer which..." delete *have*
5. VI. A. 2. a. 7.
*Should be* "...authorized to sign..."
6. VI. A. 2. b.
= 1. delete "of Directors" - to be consistent
= 2. line 2 place a comma after *powers*
7. VI. A. 2. d. 4. line 2
Pres. *should be* President
**8*. VI. B. 1. b.
(1) After* "friends"* add " , and the community"
The intent is to be inclusive of the entire community, not just WECA members

This is because we solicit things other than money.

add at the end of the item "...of a simple majority." because to be clear,
we need to state what a carrying vote is.

line 1 remove the period after "to"
11. IX. B.
line 1 remove "...as provided..."
line 2 after "...next regular..." for clarity, add *membership*

Mrs. Scott provided me.
WECA Mission
As local residents, we will work towards creating and maintaining a
quality of life that is, at minimum, reasonably expected, deserved and
welcomed by our overall community. We will strive to ensure a safe
environment for all. A respectable and thriving community will be
sought after and supported. An educational system for all children to
succeed within will be embraced. Our various levels of Government and
local representation will be supported when appropriate, monitored
routinely and held accountable. Speaking up on behalf of our residents
is the key to our success, therefore, researching issues, distribution
of information and general membership will be of high priority.
So, we should keep this one, document it in a resolution, and take it
as another win for the Board. :)
