Dear Web Site Garage User:
We regret to inform you that Web Site Garage Services will be
discontinued as of August 15, 2002. These services include
Register-It, GIF Lube and Tune Up. Additionally, Hitometer will
only work for AOL Hometown users. Please review the following
important information:
* AOL HOMETOWN HITOMETER USERS: If you use the Hitometer counter
on your AOL Hometown hosted site, you will be able to continue
displaying the counter after August 15, 2002. NO ACTION is
required on your part.
* ALL OTHER HITOMETER USERS: If you are using the Hitometer counter
on a Web site, please follow the instructions below to remove the
code from your site. You should complete these steps before
August 15, 2002. After that date, the counter will no longer
display properly on your site, and you will no longer have access
to traffic reports.
Instructions for removing Hitometer:
To remove the Hitometer code from your website, please delete the HTML
text that you or your Webmaster originally added to your site. This
code started with the text "<!-- BEGIN HITOMETER TAG VERSION 2 -->"
and ended with "<!-- END HITOMETER TAG ( WWW.HITOMETER.COM ) -->".
* ALL USERS OF REGISTER-IT, TUNE UP AND GIF LUBE: You can continue
to use these services until August 15, 2002. At that time, these
services will be discontinued. Please make other arrangements for
replacing these services
