Yes, I had to chuckle a little when I read your post, Clarissa. If you
have to tell your client it will cause epileptic seizures in order for
them to let it go, do what you must. But mostly it's an issue of
respecting your customers and not irritating them.

I think its less epilepsy and more that its in poor choice and a
desperate
choice for a marketer to use very obtrusive flash banners.
The IAB is a good place to start if you want to read on general best
practices.
