In the film industry it means the folks who do the catering, my thinking is
that in the film
credits "craft" seems to put you "above" that poor guy/gal who works at the
local deli. I tend to
find the other strange custom is for the need of the staff to order those lame
jackets with the
logo of the show that they worked on. In the industry this looks cool, but when
I see one the only
thing I can think is "that poor person was underpaid and the only thing they
have to show for it
is that damn jacket..." Of course if I buy a pizza for the programming staff or
purchase an extra
chocolate bar for my art director I guess that makes me "craft" too!

Michael

P.S. In Hollywood catering is very important because it's a fringe benefit for
people who are
underpaid and the level of the star may directly impact the quality of the food
itself. Of course
the quality of the food most likely has little to do with the quality of the
film itself, but then
all those folks care about is "whatz-itz-boxofice?"
