I need some help asap. Some folks may know I planted (with much help) 28 fruit
trees in 2014. I've gotten the number up to 35 now. If they hang on I figure
they should be producing 17.5-35,000 lbs/yr of apples, peaches, plums, pears,
cherries and hardy figs some years down the line, My predecessor started an
orchard, swent intol colmp;etition with the deer m and lost. I've been in
competition with the deer and winning, with thhe aid of some stinky goop the
main ingredient of which is "putrified eggs", forf which the nanufacturers
charge you around $600 per dozen, but whichh really work. It has to be put on
monthly. For the first time since late 2014 I havem't been able to finish the
job this time because of excessive dizziness.
So I'm asking if there's anyone out there who would like to go out spraying
young trees witgh putrified eggs within the next week or so. My excuse for
asking is that I'm a really lousy businessman, and am afraid that planning to
make and eat 35,000 pounds of jan every year (or even 1 % of that which is
probably realistic at first) s overly ambitous, so the fruit, as long as I'n
around, will molsly be the town's Anyhow, that's the deal. The job tahes
maybe 2.5 hours for one person to do. I've got 4 separate gallons of the stuff
so up to 4 people could work on it at once. The trees have to be sprayed top
to bottom, but on al A but two of them I've gotten the lowest 2 feet done.
