Subject: [The-L] sheep
Rehoming my sheep. These are not family pets or meat animals, they are
breeding stock, or brush burners. Three Black belly Barbados ewes. They range
from approximately four years of age to seven. The seven year old has been
bred in the past and produced twins, but has not been bred since I have owned
them. They are a "wilder breed" of hair sheep - do not need to be shorn, have
good feet, are parasite resistant and are very easy keepers, and respect
fencing. The down side is they are VERY SHY. We do not handle them at all.
They are not aggressive at all, but charge away from you if you get too close.
We expected to use them for breeding purposes but are no loger eating meat and
are totally
involved with the care of my mother so don't have time to do anything with them
except watch them eat and look beautiful
in the yard. There will be a rehoming fee, but price is negotible to a good
