Deer ticks primarily go after Whitetail deer, which are quite common here
in Warwick. I would expect deer ticks are just as common as WT Deer. About
50% carry Lyme disease.

The good news is that deer ticks are not common in Warwick, so lyme is
probably rare here too. If you picked it up in the valley or eastern
Mass, all bets are off.
