Warwick Voters & Residents,
Tom Wyatt has listed the Date, time and place which I have reposted
below for the School Closure Vote. If it indeed takes place this is it.
There isn't any going back to ask for a re-vote. Tom has provided the
individual school committee e mail addresses many times in the past, I
am also re-posting them below. Warwick has three members including the
Chair that have all been in this for quite a while. Jessica Marshall,
J.David Young and Chair Susan O'Reilly-McRae whom we are vary fortunate
to have. We have been told that the letters that have been written and
presented have not been circulated to each member of the SC or discussed
at meetings. Here is an opportunity to write a commonsense short e mail
asking for each individual member to consider keeping WCS open. Send
your letters individually, not in a cc or blast. Please make them
personal and be considerate that this problem has existed long before
some of the members were ever on the committee. We have to be heard once
again even though letters have been sent to Commissioner Jeffrey Riley
from DESE and the School Committee in the past. Keep this going. The
Select board has been active on your behalf as well as the Community
Education Task Force here in town. Your government is asking for help
from everyone! All of us count, so do not think your input is not
important. Also, please attend the meeting next Thursday at PVRS. We
need to pack the meeting.

•Thursday March 28th - Special School Committee meeting @ 7:00 pm at
PVRS. Main topic: discussion and possible vote on closing the Leyden and
Warwick elementary schools. All residents concerned about the possible
closure of Warwick Community School are encouraged to come. Because
citizen comments are likely to be limited, please consider writing a
letter in advance expressing your thoughts to the School Committee.
