At about 12:45 am there was a 3-alarm structure fire in a 1-family home at
405 Richmond Road in Warwick. Two family members were able to escape the
fire and five are currently unaccounted for. The investigation into the
origin and cause is being jointly conducted by the Warwick Fire and Police
Departments and State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire
Marshal and to the Office of the Northwestern District Attorney, and the
Code Compliance Office in the Department of Fire Services.
Media staging area is the Town Hall at 12 Athol Road. Scene access is
difficult and people are asked to stay away from the fire scene.
