The face of the campaign is the dog found abandoned on Richmond Road last
month-- "Buddy" (aka "Charlie Chaplin"). He has cherry eye, Lyme disease,
skin issues, degenerative joint disease, possible seizure disorder, some
bad teeth, and needs to be neutered. The vet thinks he is about 8 years
old and should be able to live a good quality life once all his medical
issues have been addressed. YELP FOR HELP pays for the stray animal vet
care, not taxpayer dollars. The funds raised will go to YELP for Buddy's
care. He is currently in long-term foster care here in Warwick, as he
would not have done well in a shelter environment.
