I believe what’s app will work on an iPad, as well.

WhatsApp works great over internet. It's a cell phone app. It's like texting
only much better. It does not work on a computer. I hope that helps. Much of
the world uses it to keep in touch with family and friends.

I don’t know about WhatsApp via the Internet. That would be the only way in
Warwick because of the cell phone coverage that isn’t!

Italy has been using WhatsApp groups to get help to people - that might work
for some but not all in Warwick I guess. Especially the
elderly who aren’t used to using smart phones. Or am I wrong about that?
Could that work do you think?

Dan, Ana, Debra, I forget who else has posted but will go through the-L
postings and find y'all interested in getting something going. My goal is
to have something to share in the newsletter (deadline is...now). Please
reach out to me off list if you would like to be involved.
Let's be proactive, Warwick!

I would love to take the energy behind Ana’s recent post and the
subsequent responses and put something together here in town.
“In a Clinton Hill 12-building complex with 1,200 units, for example,
tenants are reactivating a network where each building has captains and
some floor-leaders who will field requests and concerns from elderly or
vulnerable tenants—and connect them to a flock of able-bodied volunteers
who can help.
“If a neighbor needs some support getting groceries or something else,
they can contact their building captain and they can be connected to one of
the 60, and growing, number of volunteers we have ready to support,”
explained 38-year-old Heather Benjamin, one of the complex’s organizers.”
“What's happening in Clinton Hill is taking place in ad hoc ways all over
the city: neighborhood-specific Google documents, spreadsheets, and Slack
channels are all sharing resources and offering help in ways large and
small.”
