The three remaining members of the Memorial Day Committee met today from 6
to 7PM to discuss the 2018 event. Bill Lyman was also in attendance.
The committee discussed how much of the standard program we would be able
to do with our diminished committee size.
Due to family commitments that were not firmed up yet, Rick would only be
available on either Saturday or Monday, but wouldn't know until after May
8th.
*The committee decided* that all that could be committed to was:
1) That new flags would be put onto the veterans graves the week
before
2) On either Saturday or Monday of Memorial Day Weekend wreaths
would
be laid at the memorials and Honor Roll
*At the Next Meeting* on May 9th at 6PM, the committee will firm up the
date/time of the event and determine the details of the Wreath Layings.
