Come see what The Green Communities Grant has accomplished at the PVRS,
Northfield Elementary, and Warwick Community schools.
The Northfield Energy Committee, with the help of Jim Toth, has put together an
energy-packed morning of hands-on activities for kids, a tour of the NES
building, and a virtual "tour" of the projects completed to date at PVRS and
WCS. Some of these energy-saving improvements could even be done in your own
home!
Senator Jo Comerford and Rep. Paul Mark will attend, as well as Joanne
Bissetta, the Deputy Director of the Green Communities Division of DOER (Dept.
of Energy Resources….where the money came from to do these projects)
There are still more projects on the table for the next round of grants, but
it's time to celebrate the work at hand.
Saturday 9/14, 10:00 - 12:30, at the Northfield Elementary School - live music
