Hello Warwick! As some of you may know, I am a member of the Wendell
Community Chorus. Perhaps you have been to a live performance and heard us
sing songs of love, and unity? Maybe you have even sung along with us as
we bring people together and inspire them?
You may have also heard that we are embarking on a very special project
this spring. We are planning to make a CD of some of our greatest hits!
Many audience members request a CD at our shows to continue the inspiration
and joyful messages of our songs and our unified voices. We hope to make
that dream a reality!
To make it happen, we will be launching a fundraiser in just a week or so.
We are sending out a little advanced notice to be on the lookout for the
fundraiser. I will send out another email and post it online as soon as it
is launched.
We are letting our friends and family know with a little advanced notice so
that the fundraiser can be very successful. If you would be a person who
would consider helping to spread the word or donating in the first few days
of the fundraiser, we would be so appreciative! The first few days and week
of a fundraiser makes a big difference to the fundraiser as a whole. When
there is great support in the beginning, many others recognize the project
and they are drawn into the joyful energy!
Our fundraiser will be a GoFundMe online campaign and we will be posting on
Facebook and via email. Donations by mail and in person can be received as
well.
We hope you will be part of joining in this project with us. Every
"sharing" (online, email or in person) and every dollar will help us to our
goal!
