Duncan is on the ice!
Now that something resembling winter has finally arrived, it's time to
start imagining its passing. The Moores Pond Beach Committee is once again
holding an Ice-Out Contest on the pond. As in the past few years, ice-out
will be defined by when Duncan, the concrete Dog-gone Terrier, plunges
through the melting ice at the south end of Moores Pond. I will print up
contest sheets and drop boxes for the Library and the Town Hall, but it
would be preferable if you emailed your guesses of *date and time* of
Duncan's first swim of the year to me at jjimmcraejim@xxxxxxxxx
