Subject: Audio Recording for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Hi Tim,

I didn't want to post this to your list with out getting your permission
first. Please read the below, and if you feel ok with, please post to the
list. Thanks.

Hello list,

On one of the forums I participate in a thread popped up asking about
different methods and options for audio recording for the blind and visually
impaired. The thread drew enough interest that I've decided to do a series
of articles on the subject for publication on our website. While the
original thread was focused a DAW and multi-track recording I intend to
widen the scope to encompassed audio recording in general. I'll cover not
only software such as Sonar, Audacity and alike, but even general purpose
audio software such as Gold Wave, Sound Forge etc. I'll also be covering
hardware based approaches and the use of external stand alone recorders,
control surfaces etc. I'd like to interview those of you on the list that
are interested in participating, so if you record audio, rather it be a
small home project studio, for recreational use, professional whatever, and
would to participate please contact me off list at
<mailto:chip@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> chip@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and thank you.
