We recently did some research into the Companion. It does talk but our main
concern was having a feature that allows the monitor to repeat readings. The
Companion does not repeat. It is made by Omnis Health and they are more than
willing to send you a demo for free: www.omnishealth.com

Subject: Possible Junk E-Mail [visionrehabtherapist] Companion Blood Glucose
Monitoring system

Is anyone familiar with the Companion blood glucose device? Literature on
the Internet indicates it talks, but I have not heard of it before. Is it a
reliable device?

Thank you,
