This day-long, practical workshop will focus on the Unified English Braille
(UEB) code, which will be implemented in the United States on January 4, 2016.
An explanation of the changes between UEB and the current code will be provided
and discussed. Participants need to bring a Perkins Brailler so they can
practice the new UEB code with discussion to follow. Sample documents
transcribed in UEB will also be reviewed.
