Eileen and all: A recent report in the NFB's "Voice of the Diabetic" publication indicates that even though many companies are marketing their blood glucose machines as having voice output, the PRODIGY VOICE is still the best option because it is more fully accessible (i.e. volume control is accessible, repeating the blood sugar result more than one time is accessible) and also this NFB article indicates that the Prodigy Voice provides a phone help line with people familiar with issues relating to vision loss. If anyone has any information which contradicts this, or has found any other good accessible blood glucose machines, please share! This arena is rapidly changing. Literature on the Internet indicates it talks, but I have not heard of it before. Is it a reliable device?
