PPP (point-to-point protocol), is used to connect computers to the Internet across a standard telephone line. A remote attacker could send a specially crafted PPP packet to cause the system to crash. A fix for the Linux kernel (2.6.11.4) is available at http://kernel.org/ NOTE: The addresses above may not show up on your screen as single lines.
