Hi Floyd.
If you can open that project again, I'd probably just make the take you want
active by selecting it in the take manager, cut or copy that object to another
temp track, delete all the objects and then put that object back and re-save
with another name.
Otherwise, if you can't open the project for some reason, look in the project
folder and back up the takes you have. You will then always have the ability to
import the take you want into a new track.
Best Steve.

Subject: [vipaudioaccess] take manager
Hi guys,
Is there a way to keep only the last take in a given track?
I ask because I had a really strange event today.
I was working on drum tracks. According to Samplitude I was up to 129 takes. I
had 12 tracks in record for drums. I assume this means that Samplitude is
keeping over 1200 takes, 129 for each of the 12 tracks.
I only need the latest mostly.
Samplitude began acting very strange. In fact, at one point I went to go look
at system options and pressing y just sat there for like 5 minutes. The same
was true when I tried to go to any options like vst etc.
I got out of the project and Samplitude and even rebooted, brught it back up
and went into a different project and the same thing happened.
I can't help but think that the project with all the takes caused some issues.
I finally did a restore which put things back to normal but I'm not going near
that project.
When I looked at the take manager, there is a column that says 'replace all
takes' or something like that. That is checked but I don't know really what it
means.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Floyd...
