FYI, I just tried soloing one of the two tracks and I appear to have gotten
the result I wanted. It appears that, when one of your tracks is soloed, you
have access to only that one soloed track with respect to the events shown in
the list. I didn’t try your second option about setting an object. I may try
that. But since I seem to get the result I want using the solo track
option,I’ll say I’m good for bow.
Incidentally, if you haven’t been following my other thread here, Efren Chavez
and Steve appear to have found some Reaper plugs that look as though they will
allow me to do all the stuff I want to do concerning keyboard splits and
transposition. The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to save the
settings in the JS plugs because I haven’t sen an OK button to keep the changes
and I haven’t actually heard the changes take effect. But I’m sure that’s just
a matter of what I like to call, “Press the reset button, Volume XII, Revised
Edition.”

object, in order to send a range to the selected object, then control windows
F11 To apply this range to the track you're focused on, which will Mean it

Monitoring is set to manual and two tracks are armed for recording. Now,

Independence. So, while I’ve heard of how to split an object horizontally,
I can’t seem to split it vertically. How can I create one object containing
only track 1 and another containing only track 2?
