I'm not sure if groups will do it, as I haven't really gone into that side
of it yet, but if you find out, please share the information! Steve.

thanks Steve, I'll try this.
A related question, can you move several tracks levels at a time?
You can always assign multiple tracks to a bus, but is there another way?
I've seen track groups or VCA groups mentioned in Samplitude's manual
but not in the scripts documentation. Are they accessible ? They don't
seem to have hotkeys. .

JP:
1. Press control alt shift L twice, go down to automation mode sub menu and select trim/relative.
2. Start playback, press alt L, lock the left mouse button and use alt shift up/down to change volume automation..
3. When finished, unlock the mouse and set automation mode back to "read".
This works, because when you press alt+L once, I have made the script focus on the volume control knob...and this is what you have to lock the mouse on in order to create the automation.
If you had a midi controller/slider, you would simply lock the mouse and move the slider. Alternatively, you can press and hold control+alt and use a physical mouse. These methods should work for all automatable parameters if you are on the actual control.
BTW, I have also done the same for pan. So, repeat the above, but press alt+P to focus on the pan control. HTH, steve.

hello guys,
here is what I did.
1, Got an audio track, turned curve on on this track, started Playback,
Breast alt l twice and started changing the volume. changes were not
recorded. I was able to write automation curves with nodes though, but
no success in recording volume changes in real-time.
Does it mean you must have a control surface to do real-time volume changes?
Best,
