Kevin,
The buttons for Komplete Kontrol function exactly the same in any DAW on either
platform, as Komplete Kontrol gets loaded as a VST plugin just as any VST synth
would do, the differance is that it is acting as a host for any number of other
VST synths provided they have been mapped and their presets resaved in the
required NKS and NKFS standard.
~The only other differance to which you may have been referring is the S-series
keyboards onboard transport controls, in logic, Garage Band and I believe Pro
Tools possibley Ableton too, Native Instruments have integrated full DAW
controls where you can go up and down tracks using the keyboard and as well as
looping and the usual stop, play, forward, back functions.
In Samplitude and Sonar you can set the keyboard up as a Mackie control and get
access to stop, play, record, forward, back etc all very handy when composing.
best,
Chris

Thank you so much for this description. I am curious that this Tom's forwarded
from the VIP Audio Access list. Do we know anything about how certain buttons
behave in Samplitude as opposed to Logic and other DAWs?

Here you go!

These are identical to S25, S49, S61 and S88 Keyboards

Page Right Button
Below these buttons are the transport controls for use with a DAW
Transport Section:
LOOP | RWD | FFW

Continuing on from left to right are
8 x rotary touch sensitive knobs whose purpose changes depending upon
the page selected

The functions of the Navigate Section buttons that you aren't familiar
with so far are:

required when using Logic, GarageBand, Cubase or Live.
SHIFT+INSTANCE toggles generic MIDI Mode On / Off.

LEFT / RIGHT - Navigate the on-screen version of the Browser (On-Screen
Overlay).
SHIFT+LEFT / SHIFT+RIGHT - Undo / Redo in Logic and GarageBand.
ENTER - Load the currently selected Preset when in Browse Mode (the same
as pushing the Main Knob).

Finally on the far left of the keyboard are an octabe up and octabe down
button
which
are located above the pichbend and modulation touch strips
- Navigate up and down the tracks in Logic, GarageBand, Cubase and Live.

Hi,
Subject basically says it all. Does anyone have a description of the buttons,
etc. on the keyboard? I'd be interested in having it if someone does.
Michael.
