Hidden MIDI track for softsynthes. There is no such thing. The MIDI is
printed to one of the softsynthe tracks.

Zoom mode will reveal the hidden MIDI track for each softsynth track?
I had no idea. never messed with zoom yet. I'll try it.

I have a project with some stuff recorded, but when I set the project
up at its beginning, I didn't show any of the MIDI tracks, thinking I
didn't need to do that. Now it turns out that someone with whom I was
working on this project wants the MIDI file so they can take it to
their own DAW and muck about with it on their own rig. OK, fair 'nuff,
right? So how do I do that? How do I take a project with a few
recorded tracks and export the MIDI data to a standard MIDI file? Yes,
I know the patch info is junk, but that's OK, the person will choose
instruments on their end, I am just looking to get the notes exported.
