Hi Mark
If you already have a mix bounced down as an mp3 all you need do is import
the MP3 into Samplitude, select the object on the track, open the object
editor and as Steve said, in the object editor you can go to the pitch tab
and change the pitch of the object. If you want a more specific breakdown
of how to do this please get in touch off list.

Thanks for letting me know about this Steve,
I have a Win 7 PC with the last version of Sonar and a newer PC with
Samplitude 5. Uh, with no knowledge of Samplitude yet.
What is the name of the effect that will do this. I know it was easy with
midi, but didn't know I could do it with the entire mix.
I am assuming I will just import the MP3 file, select the track, access the
miracle effect, choose a step or two up or down and voila?
Can't wait to find out how this will work for me.

Do you currently have a DAW like samplitude or Reaper at the moment, as
these should be able to do what you want.

Howdy,
I apologize if this question has been asked before.
I have download an app for IOS that would let me adjust songs up, or down by
steps and even smaller amounts. It was not accessible, so I wasted $9.
I would rather convert an MP3 on my PC anyway, so was wondering if anyone
knows of a totally accessible program for my PC that will let me try
different keys to find out what range works best with guitar and vocals?
If I like the song and can sing it in my key, I would then like to record
them to work on my recording skills that are rusty after a several year
absence.
